My obsession with photography was sparked a few years ago by the raw, documentary style of Danny Lyon’s work The Bikeriders, which was later turned into a movie in 2023. I don't just want to take pictures of cars and bikes going fast; I want to capture the grit, the tension, and the culture that surrounds them.

 

Before picking up a lens, I trained as a mechanic. I know exactly what it takes, the late nights, the busted knuckles, and the empty wallets to get a machine to the start line. When I am shooting trackside, I am looking at the event through the eyes of someone who understands the engineering just as much as the aesthetics.

 

Currently, I can be found shooting trackside across the country, covering the RSA rallies, the NW200, and regular events at Kirkistown and Nutts Corner. My work has been featured in publications including Road Racing Ireland, and my goal is always to deliver the definitive image of a weekend's racing.
